My passion for language learning started in high school when I had to pass language classes to graduate.
Unfortunately, those classes did not teach me to have foreign language conversations. Duolingo didn’t, either.
Now I understand why I was taught language learning in that way, why it didn’t help me have conversations, and how to learn a language with conversations as a priority.
